A poem Contemplation upon flowers by Henry King—> HELP PLEASE!!!?
BRAVE flowers–that I could gallant it like you,
And be as little vain!
You come abroad, and make a harmless show,
And to your beds of earth again.
You are not proud: you know your birth:
For your embroider’d garments are from earth.

You do obey your months and times, but I
Would have it ever Spring:
My fate would know no Winter, never die,

i am trying to figure out what the last stanza means can anybody help me please it would be greatly appreciated thanks

i recommend Hoogasian (sp?).. they are older family owned business downtown SF, extremely helpful and friendly..

Yes, just don’t include you name on the card
You can say something like "secret admirer" or whatever is appropriate, or nothing
If not at home, flowers will be left with a neighbor

I really like freesias. The stems are very elegant and usually look great in a tall vase. They are a relatively long lasting cut flower...about ten days ( to two weeks if kept cooler). Buy them in bud for best results. They are beautifully fragrant, but subtle enough that most men don't complain!

Carnations and mums last the longest of the easy to obtain cut flowers. Sprays of orchids are long lasting too. Blue iris and lilies are the shortest lived. You can extend the life of flowers in a vase by keeping them as cool as possible and recutting the stems and changing the water every day.

When buying flowers online, Is it possible to stay anonymous and what if the person is not home?
Never bought flowers online before. I am going to use that major 1-800 place. I want to stay anonymous (not for any weird reason). Also, what happens if the person is not home at the time?
